Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support customers throughout Baltimore, Hagerstown, and Washington, DC region.

Y ou’ll be the go-to expert diagnosing and repairing specialized utility trucks and equipment in the field , including bucket trucks, digger derricks, cranes, service trucks, and other utility and construction equipment .

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment, utility equipment, and trucks at customer locations.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to maximize equipment uptime.
• Road test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Document repairs accurately and communicate service updates professionally with customers and internal teams.
• Manage service calls efficiently while working independently in the field.
• Safely operate, maintain, and inventory a company-provided service truck.
• Collaborate with the CTOS Field Service team to deliver exceptional customer support.

What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Field Service Technician related experience (Heavy Equipment, Truck or Utility Equipment Technician.)
• Class B CDL required.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair equipment independently in the field.
• Strong documentation, organizational and time-management skills.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel throughout the Baltimore, Hagerstown, and Washington, DC service territory, including occasional overnight travel.
